Exeter Storage is a project by Statera Energy, who are shaping plans for a new battery storage scheme adjacent to the National Grid Exeter substation.
Statera Energy was created with the aim of delivering increased flexibility for the UK electricity system to assist in the transition to a low carbon economy in the belief that renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, will become the dominant form of generation in the future.
The development will deliver energy security, lower emissions and provide economic uplift for the local area.
